Fidell acted as Operations Manager, with responsibility for ensuring the continuous operation of IBM’s data centers across the Nordic region, as well as overseeing the operations and maintenance of approximately 60,000 m² of office space.

The project also included conducting detailed inventories of existing data centers to identify equipment, systems, and infrastructure requiring upgrades or replacement.

A key part of the role was performing comprehensive risk assessments, covering both external and internal factors that could impact operational stability and uptime. In addition, the scope included annual CAPEX and OPEX planning, workforce planning, and recruitment.

The role also involved leading, coordinating, and overseeing projects.
